Everything you need to know about Veriflo's document protection
Our proprietary 5-layer forensic fingerprinting embeds invisible markers at multiple levels: metadata, steganographic (pixel-level), structural, perceptual hash, and blockchain. Each copy gets a unique fingerprint tied to the recipient. Even if someone screenshots, crops, or edits the content, enough layers survive to identify the source with 98.5% accuracy.
No. Unlike visible watermarks, our fingerprints are completely invisible to the human eye. Recipients see and use your content normally - they have no idea it's protected. This is crucial because visible watermarks can be cropped or edited out.
When you upload a document, we create a cryptographic hash of the content and write it to the Polygon blockchain. This creates an immutable timestamp proving the document existed at that moment. Anyone can verify authenticity by scanning the QR code or entering the verification ID - the blockchain confirms the document hasn't been altered.
We support all major file types up to 500MB: PDFs, Word documents, images (JPG, PNG, TIFF, etc.), videos (MP4, MOV, etc.), audio files (MP3, WAV, etc.), and even source code. If your file type isn't listed, contact us - we're constantly adding support for new formats.
Yes. Our forensic reports are designed to meet legal evidence standards. We provide detailed chain-of-custody documentation, technical methodology explanations, and expert-ready reports. Several law firms use Veriflo specifically for litigation support. Enterprise customers get access to our legal team for testimony support.
If you find your content leaked, upload the leaked version to our analysis tool. We'll extract the fingerprint and match it to your distribution records, identifying exactly which recipient's copy was leaked. You'll receive a forensic report with all the evidence needed for legal action or internal investigation.
Yes. Our forensic reports provide the evidence needed to pursue legal action. This includes breach of contract claims, copyright infringement, and in some cases criminal charges. We recommend consulting with a qualified attorney to understand your options based on your specific situation and jurisdiction.
